It's a Girl
We found out on December 22nd that we are in fact having a little girl this time. We are both very exciting...especially Ben. I think he's going to be mush when she arrives. We are starting to count down, only 3 1/2 months left. Ben didn't believe me the other day so I had to get out a calendar to show him. He has now been in a little bit of a rush to get our basement started (pictures to come soon of the construction) so we can move the office to the basement and set up her room in time for her arrival. I am starting to get a little anxious about getting things ready (nesting starts)...I think that's because now that I know she's a girl we can start planning and setting up, until now it has been no big deal. I've gone through another house "cleaning" again and I think I'm driving Ben a little crazy making piles of things I think we don't need anymore. Ah, nesting...it's so much fun.

Random Updates
Taylor has this tiger that arms and legs velcro, so he wanted to wear it around his neck the other day. He makes me laugh.

Random updates...
Taylor is going for his first hair cut next Saturday. I will take pics to post. Although I do love the little locks, he is starting to look like he has a mullet which I just cannot handle. I few people have to told me to hold onto a piece of his hair...but I truly wonder why people do that. I look back at what my parents held onto and I don't get it some times. I think some pictures, for me, would mean more of the experience, than a lock of hair. I think it kinda creepy to hang onto hair, teeth, etc of your kids (no judgment if you do) but I think its strange. Maybe I'm the one that's strange.
Ben went crazy on the Christmas lights this year. He got new LED icicle lights. The house looks great...I'll have to take some pics of that too and post it for you to see.
We are hoping to get started on our basement soon. We only have four and a half more months until this baby comes and he/she needs to have a room. We want to move the office to the basement to make room for the new lil one. Ben is going to try and do the basement himself for the most part and only hire out what he needs done. I'm sure he's right on us saving a ton of money but I hate adding more to his already over filled plate.
Pregnancy has been going well for the most part. I can no longer suck in my stomach so I had Ben pull out my maternity clothes so I can go through them and pull some stuff out. I am still able to wear my normal jeans which is awesome so far. I'm not ready for maternity pants yet...I feel like I just got out of them. I have been more sick with this pregnancy. I've lost weight this entire pregnancy and our doctor is now getting concerned since I'm still getting sick every other day and don't have the best appetite. With Taylor I started to feel better after 20 weeks so I am hoping it is the same this time, I am currently 18 weeks, so not too much longer. Although, because I have been way more physically sick with this pregnancy everyone says I must be having a girl. We will find out soon enough...our big ultra sound is scheduled for Dec 22 and we hopefully get to find out the sex then, if the baby cooperates. I have been feeling the baby move more and more. Nothing from the outside, all internal, so Ben hasn't felt anything yet. I feel like this baby is very active compared to Taylor. Its funny how Taylor has so not active when I carried him but he can't stop moving now!

Zoo Lights
Ben, Taylor and I took my mom and her husband to the zoo lights at the Denver Zoo. It was chilly and I wasn't sure how Taylor would do but we bundled him up and he had fun walking around.
I bought this lion backpack, that goes around Taylor and then the tail of the lion you hold onto. It works great! He gets to walk, feel independent and we don't have to worry about him walking off without us.

Paramore Concert
Ben and I went to the Paramore concert on November 9th with some friends. It was a good concert but at the Filmore you have to stand the entire time. I wasn't very smart and I wore high heels and by the end of the night I was hurting. The band puts on a good concert.

Cheesey Smiles
We recently went to Ohio to visit Ben's brother Josh and his family. We went to our nephews college football game. I forgot my camera so the only picture I have was on my phone. Our other nephew Jackson is also in the picture. Taylor left his hat and gloves on the entire time...we were totally shocked. It was a cold day. It was wonderful to see them.
Taylor's play-set is not just for playing. The dogs have made it there new place to lay when they are out in the yard.

I'm pregnant!
Guess what....I'm pregnant!
I am 9 weeks. I had a doctors appointment today and everything is looking good. We have been waiting to announce our very exciting news until today because we wanted to make sure everything looked good with the baby. My due date is May 3, 2010.
Ben and I have been talking about trying to have another baby. We were still talking and not actively trying but God had plans of his own. :) We are very excited. I am a little nervous because Taylor and the little one will be very close in age but our hope is that they will be great friends.
From coming from a place where we weren't sure if we could have kids after my surgery to having Taylor and now being pregnant again, we are so blessed!!! God is truly amazing and we can't thank Him enough for how much he has changed our lives.

Michigan
Taylor and I went to Michigan to visit one of my college girlfriends, Erin and her new husband BJ over Labor Day weekend. Erin is one of my sorority sisters. Our other friend Courtney also flew out for the weekend. This was Taylor's first plane ride. He did really good. He slept almost the whole way there and slept the entire way back. I also brought marshmellows to help his ears pop (family secret).

All their neighbors get together out on the lake and tie all their boats together to hang out for the day.

Taylor wouldn't sleep in his pack-n-play all night, once he knew I was in the room (we shared a room obviously) and asleep, he would wake up screaming and then spent the rest of the night sleeping with me. It usually took me about an hour to get him to settle down so I really didn't get much sleep.
Erin and BJ were such wonderful hosts, they made Taylor and I feel so comfortable and welcome. It was a lovely vacation and we hope to go back soon. (Hopefully the next time Ben can go with us.)
