I'm pregnant!

Guess what....I'm pregnant!

I am 9 weeks. I had a doctors appointment today and everything is looking good. We have been waiting to announce our very exciting news until today because we wanted to make sure everything looked good with the baby. My due date is May 3, 2010.

Ben and I have been talking about trying to have another baby. We were still talking and not actively trying but God had plans of his own. :) We are very excited. I am a little nervous because Taylor and the little one will be very close in age but our hope is that they will be great friends.

From coming from a place where we weren't sure if we could have kids after my surgery to having Taylor and now being pregnant again, we are so blessed!!! God is truly amazing and we can't thank Him enough for how much he has changed our lives.

Michigan

Taylor and I went to Michigan to visit one of my college girlfriends, Erin and her new husband BJ over Labor Day weekend. Erin is one of my sorority sisters. Our other friend Courtney also flew out for the weekend. This was Taylor's first plane ride. He did really good. He slept almost the whole way there and slept the entire way back. I also brought marshmellows to help his ears pop (family secret).

All their neighbors get together out on the lake and tie all their boats together to hang out for the day.

Taylor wouldn't sleep in his pack-n-play all night, once he knew I was in the room (we shared a room obviously) and asleep, he would wake up screaming and then spent the rest of the night sleeping with me. It usually took me about an hour to get him to settle down so I really didn't get much sleep.

Every night their neighbor built a fire. It was so nice.

Erin and BJ were such wonderful hosts, they made Taylor and I feel so comfortable and welcome. It was a lovely vacation and we hope to go back soon. (Hopefully the next time Ben can go with us.)

Jump Street

We took Taylor to Jump Street to play. He really like climbing, sliding, and jumping on the trampolines.

HTKC show

Segways

Ben got some segways for the weekend to use at the car show. We had friends over for a BBQ the Friday before and they all decided to try them out.


Then our friend, Adrienne wrecked and totally messed up her leg and feet. Note to all: wear shoes and pants when driving a Segway :)

She was in so much pain.

Gina and I played nurse, but we didn't do a very good job, Adrienne's leg ended up getting infected :(

Nickleback Concert

Ben and I went to the Nickleback Concert with some friends. We thought it was going to rain on us the entire time but it only sprinkled...we lucked out. The concert was at Fiddlers Green, an outdoor amphitheater.
