I am grateful for new experiences. Both the kids got to go ice skating for the first time with their Papa and Uncle Wil.

I am thankful for daylight savings. The kids are still sleeping (I think because it's dark out) and it's past 7am.

I am grateful for my kids that make me laugh. Taylor laid out blankets for a dance floor. Then they had a Justin Beiber dance party. So cute! They are truly my greatest blessing from God!

I am grateful today for the swim school Taylor takes swim lessons through. They are doing an amazing job with him. Taylor has been going for over a year now. He wouldn't even put his face in the water at first and today he swam all by himself, short distance, but it is such a huge accomplishment for him. He also swam down and pick rings off the bottom in the short end. I am so proud of him and so grateful to his swim teacher who has taken his time with Taylor and brought him so far!

Home & Garden Show

Ben and I took the kids to the Home & Garden Show.  We got lots of great ideas for the house and yard.  Now we just have to wait for summer to arrive.  (Although I love winter so I'm not wishes for summer yet).  Great day spent with the family.

I am grateful for imagination. Having kids has made me re-discover playtime. Taylor and Hailey were pretending to go out and play in the snow. (Taylor told me that my job was to get them ready...lol).

I am grateful for Ben. He took Taylor, Hailey and all 3 dogs on a walk today while I was out to lunch with some friends. I know how difficult it is to take them all on a walk so I am so grateful he took the time today to do that.

I am grateful for Chick-fil-A. They are helpful when you have kids. Being your food to you and get you anything you need, its great. Plus it's awesome they aren't open on Sundays to honor the sabbath (Gods day).

I am grateful to be able to spend an amazing night celebrating a very special friends birthday (Happy Birthday Calley).  I am grateful for friendship and for Lady Antebellum for putting on an incredible concert.  And I am grateful for Calley's finance, who got us tickets 11 rows from the stage.  Incredible night!

I am grateful for things that make me smile and giggle. We found this at the Home & Garden show. It reminded me of our dog Wally, so we just had to get it. Every time I look at it makes me giggle.

I am grateful for a really fun day with my family.  We spent the afternoon at the Home & Garden show.  The entrance was done in this beautiful garden, butterflies, and balloons.

Making Valentine's

The kids and I made Valentine's to hang around the house.  It was so much fun but they made such a mess!  They had marker all over their hands and glitter on the table.  I loved every minute of it.

I am grateful for craft time with Taylor and Hailey.  We made Valentine's to hang all over the house.  It was messy and so much fun!  They turned out so cute.  I am grateful that both my kiddos love doing crafts.

 Today I am grateful for a lot of things.  We spent the day at the Rodeo and Stock Show with the kids, Papa & Cheryl.  We had an amazing time and I am so thankful for my family.  I am grateful for the traditions we are creating by going as a family every year.  I loved the stock how as a kid and I think it is so great I get to share it with my kids now.  And I am also a wanna-be-cowgirl.  I also love that Taylor wore his cowboy hat all day...he is one handsome cowboy!

Stock Show Time

We spent the day at the Rodeo and Stock Show.  We had so much fun.  Taylor wore his cowboy hat all day.  He also recently told me he is going to be a cowboy and a horse and he's going to catch the sheep and cows with his circle (he means a lasso).   I love stock show time...I am a wanna-be-cowgirl.
